This edition could be just for the casual fans, as for us die-hard's hopefully Criterion will be giving us the edition we've been wanting for years.

I highly recommend this region-free Australian disc, which has an excellent HD rendering of the original film plus the remake, minus the futzing around with the color that made the OOP Twilight Time version so controversial. I've seen screenshots for this and it does not look even remotely good imo, and I'm not one for believing screenshots represent the full picture unless in motion. But it shows enough to see imo it's more representative of a shoddy YouTube upload than a decent transfer. I had held out a little hope too.
