Columbia have rather sneaked this out into the UK market; Anatole Litvak's Night of The Generals features a fantastic cast but I feared the worst when it popped up on several sites at a bargain price (Columbia aren't reknowned for giving 'em away) with no AR info; indeed one site said it was full frame.

However, I received mine today and it's anamorphically enhanced 2.35:1 and a very nice transfer indeed, quite sharp with strong colours - best of all it can be had for around £5.99 (Amazon) or less (£4.99 from www.sendit.com , and there's a £2 voucher currently doing the rounds - Google for it).

Columbia in bargain DVD release shock; whatever is the world coming to...
