Sounds like. Someone had to invest the time to make an HD transfer of it, so I doubt they would want to not capitalize on the potential for a DVD release.

An under-appreciated movie from the 80's. I'm hoping this does make its way onto DVD, I've been waiting a long time to see it again.

oh man, I so want this movie to get released... if just to replace the crappy VHS dub I made from HBO. My VCR has already eaten 2 unavailable films... it's not going to take another! Where art thou oh Night of the Comet??!
