So I was watchnig Nick at Nite and noticed that Fresh Prince had just debuted on the network. Isn't it still too early? Fresh Prince is still syndicated everywhere and it's not that old of a show. Same thing with Roseanne and full House. Did we need these shows on Nick at nite right now? These shows aren't old enough to be Nick at nite worthy.

I think Nick at Nite should have a 20 year rule. If a show debuted 20 years ago then it gets on. 5 or 6 years from now would've been the perfect time to bring back fresh Prince. If I was runnig Nick this is how it'd look right now.

9 PM: Cosby Show
930: Family Ties

10 PM: Perfect Strangers
1030: Who's the Boss?

11 PM: Cheers
1130: Three's Company

Midnight: Diffrent Strokes
1230: Facts of Life

1 am: Head of the Class
130: What's Happening

2 am: Jeffersons
230: All in the family

3 am: Silver Spoons
330: WKRP

4 am: Happy Days
430: Charles in Charge

Is that not a perfect lineup?

The problem is you have to secure the broadcast rights for all of those shows.

I don't much care for Nick at Nite anymore, I prefer TV Land.

I think also that they just secured rights for Home Improvement starting in 2009.

I love Fresh Prince so I'm glad it's on there. Although I really wish they would show The Cosby Show at a different hour.

I've been watching Nick-at-Night since like 1993. Back when Dobie Gillis, The Patty Duke Show, The Donna Reed Show, and Alfred Hitchcock Presents were being aired. It really allowed me to experience the programming that my parents grew up on. I even remember most of the old jingle...

"When your boss is a jerk and you get home from work and you feel like a XXXX (trogledite?), ... thank goodness for Nick-at-Nite!"

But I support a 20-year delay as well. The shows from the '80s didn't get a very good sampling and I'm not sure why.

I watch Rosanne and Cosby late at night when I am doing laundry. Once in a while I watch Three's Company (think this is on a different channel though).

I too wish they would make a better Nick at Nite line up. Here is hoping for the Wonder Years, Gidget and Get Smart to make an appearance, whether it's on Nick or Tvland.
