I've decided on getting NHT Evolution M6 speakers. They will be powered by a NAD T773.

Question is however, what would be the better route to go on subs, the dual NHT 12 inch drivers in each T6 tower along with their matching amps and crosover, or to get the pedestals instead and an SVS, at least a PB2ISD or PB2Plus?

Music will be equally as important as movies, if not more so.

    Thanks in advance.

The NHT subs are very good. Rather than get the T6 subs, I would opt for dual U1's. You will get placement flexiblity over the T subs and the same extension. They will not go as low as the SVS though: you'll give up about 5 hz at the bottom.

I think an SVS PB2-Ultra would be a better choice yet...if it fits one's budget, of course...
