    Hi,
Does anyone know if ABC will show any of the NHL playoff games in HDTV? Thanks!

That would be awesome, but somehow I doubt they'd do it [IMG]

Considering that ABC dumped its HD truck after the 1999 MNF season, did not show MNF in HD this past season, and did not show the NHL All Star game in HD, I think it's a safe bet that they will not show the NHL Playoffs in HD. It's too bad, too, because I am hockey fanatic anxiously waiting to see my first hockey game in HD. Boy am I envious of the New Yorkers who get the Rangers (my team!) in HD.

Also, I believe Sportsnet in Canada broadcast a Sens vs. Sabres game in HD a week or so ago. I assume this broadcast was Canadian only and only on ExpressVu sat systems.

Expressvu did do a broadcast of the Sens vs. Sabres game.
They had two camera's at the rink, one panning the who rink from the side and one from behind one of the nets.
The front view of the rink, the broadcast was horrible, too dark, but the one from behind the net was excellent.
