With the new Conference alignments, how are playoff teams chosen ? Top 2 teams from every division ? Or divisional winners and the 2 next-best-records for the wild card teams ?

Do only 2 teams get a bye week ?

Parity may be boring to some, but it's pretty exciting (to me) having so many teams with playoff hopes this late in the season. Every game counts.

There are six playoff teams per conference. The four division winners, plus two wildcard teams based on best record.

The NFL has stated that they may add another wildcard team per conference in the future, but they want to see how things work out with the new alignment before making changes.
