Next System Purchase - please review (1 Viewer)

I’m a computer guy, and am a bit at a lost with music equipment. Mostly in regard of speakers and DAC connectivity.

After reading, considering my budget and going into a few store for listening, here is my buying list:

• PrimaLuna ProLogue Two - 2200$ (My local Can$ price) - Review Positive Feedback Review: Upscale Audio.
• Denon AVR-3808CI - 1800$
• Cambridge Audio DAC Magic - 400$ - Review at What-Hifi.
• Mordaunt-Short 908i - 1000$ (sale from 1800$).

The clashing item here is the Denon. Why get both Prima Luna and the Denon?
My first choice was the Prima Luna, the sound was a better to me than the Denon.
But the Denon has extra features that fills 2 need I am looking for:

1. 6.1 Home Cinema: I have the speakers and the TV, and still need an Amp for this. I was going for the cheapest thing around (since my music needs are filled) except for 2:
2. External drive access (USB is OK but NAS drive thru Ethernet IP is preferred).

I intend to use the Denon to read my CD library from my local network (copied on a 1 or 2 Terabyte NAS drive), then connect a digital output to the DAC-Magic, then into the Prima Luna. Does this makes sense?

Any feedback appreciated. What do you think about it? What would you change? Note that my budget is busted by 1.5K already, but might be able to get a bit more if justified (better speakers?).
