Hello,

I'm about to buy a pair of JBL N24's and I noticed that the back of the speakers don't have the "spring clips" to put the speaker wire into on the back of the speaker. My current speakers are hooked up only with the speaker wire going directy into the "spring clips". How do I hook up the JBL's if they don't have the spring clips? Sorry for being so stupid, I'm new at all this.

Thanks for the help

the n24's use a better speaker connector called a five-way binding post...it unscrews and there is a hole drilled in the metal core of the binding post. You'd stick the bare wire in the side hole, and tighten the black or red post. You'll know what I'm talking about when you get it.

another way to connect speaker wire to the binding post is to get a banana plug termination (radio shack has em) and stick it directly into the axis of the binding post. Again, you'll see what I mean.
