hi all Looking forward to learning a lot here.

Short quick problem. I live in arlington va. Not far from a radio tower. have direc tv hooked in sony wega 32' inch. picture is great but i have crosstalk problems. when i have it on one station i can faintly hear another station or radio station coming in through the TV sound. What's the deal? Is this because I am near tower? I am also going to be hooking up Sony DVD player and at a later date am going to purchase a more complete system. Perhaps static/interference will go away then? Any short term advice until I get my dream system would be appreciated.

I don't know if this will help, but try a surge protector that filters out radio frequency interference.
