I have done a search but im not able to get much info .
i am new and cant really depend on myself in choosing the better DLP set that will last a while and wont be problematic .
i am going to use it in a 16 x 12 room and it will be dark in there . i am going to use only cable Tv for now , watching DVD's and playstation 2 gaming .
    I also have a 5.1 set up .

the sets im looking at are the :
    Samsung HLN437W
    RCA Scenium HDLP50W151

i know the samsung is a second gen set so it might be more dependable - im not sure but can you guys break it down for me the pros and cons of each .

BTW i think the RCA has a built in over the air HDTV reciever - i think .

I'd go with the sammy simply based on the generation of the set.

The current issue of Home Theater Mag gave the Sammy a much higher rating than for the RCQ unit.
    YMMV
