    Hello gang,

I've run into a bit of a problem with a TV I just purchased for my home theater. I was under the impression it had audio output jacks, but it does not. And I cannot return it without paying a 15% service charge, which I naturally would like to avoid. My question is, can I run the audio through my VCR? It seems like this should work...I've got the cable wire (I don't have a cable box) hooked up to the VCR, and the A/V wire running from the VCR output to reciever input, but it's not happening. I'm usually pretty good with technology, but this has me going insane!

Also, is there a good website, preferably with diagrams, out there that guides you through a general home theater setup? All help is greatly appreciated!

    Thanks,
    Jeff Souza

Yes, you can use the VCR to do this. The only drawback will be that you will have to have the VCR on, and set to the channel in question to get sound.
