There is a region "0" DVD set that I would like, but I am concerned about playback on my region "1" player.
This is a response I received today:
"Region "0" DVDs can play on any DVD player, but not all
DVDs will play on a Region "0" DVD player"
Can I purchase region "0" DVDs without a concern about playback compatability?

Well, you want to make sure that the format of the DVD is NTSC, unless your player and TV understand PAL as well.
What I am saying is, yes, all players would play a RC 0 DVD, but only when they understand the format it was recorded on. Your run-of-the-mill US player will not play PAL. And even if your player understands PAL, your display device will have to be able to understand it as well. (Unless you're using a player like the Malata which can convert the two systems).
Gee, I hope this wasn't too complicated and confusing [IMG].
