I've been toying with the idea of letting go of some of my more insignificant dvd related pet peeves. Candidates are:
-the fact that Disney refuses to put dates on any of their dvds, so I always have to go to imdb.com to find out what year they came out. I think Disney figures if they don't put on the date the copyright won't expire. :frowning:
-the fact that 1.37:1 films are cropped to 1.33:1 for dvd. I know I'm only losing a fraction, but it's still a pet peeve of mine.

My new years resolution is to try and cut down on inhaling Sandra's smoke, I can do this by hiding her cigs, although this might be more of a health hazard than inhaling her smoke, or cough in her face and ask her politely to put out her cigarette, again this may result in painful grasping of arm and consequently no nookie for yours truly, eeeek! so a difficult resolution at best.:frowning:

1. Bulld my home theater room. It's roughed in at this time.

2. Walk/workout daily and eat healthier

Those two are enough to keep me occupied for the year.

Huh... I've never really though too much about the resolution yet. So, I'm gonna creat mine by stealing a few suggestions and add to them :)
1. Get a normal girlfriend
2. Save more money
3. Pay off the outstanding credit card debt I created by not working for the whole year
4. Drink more beer (I slacked off a lot in 2001!)
5. Go back to school and get a better job
6. Try not to go broke seeing Star Wars Episode II - Attack of the Clones too many times
And... Now for the unrealistic ones ;)
6. Win the lottery
7. Travel a lot more than I do
8. Spend more than 3 days in Vegas with out going home in the hole!!!
9. Get a normal girlfriend :)

I've made the firm resolve to write down every film I watch in 2002. Everytime I need to make a list, I can't recall just what I've seen. So, since I just LOVE lists, I am going to keep better records.

me and my buddy are coming up with a list of 25 and we're going to see who can keep the most.

a couple on my list:

a) gain 10 pounds (his was to lose 10)

b) girlfriend

c) move out of this town

d) raise my GPA by .1 (in your 6th semester this would be quite a feat)

I've already kept my resolution. I'm tired of the expense of going through dealers to purchase neat guns, so I've sent in my application for a Type 3 Federal Firearms License. :star: See Link Removed for the form. Now I can buy neat guns through the mail and save money. Buying Mausers is as addictive as buying DVDs.....
