This really seems to be a departure from their previous style of advertising...

I'm not quite sure how I should feel about advertising like this, considering I own all three platforms.
Oh, well. They're just trying to bring in a young hip audience.

Nothing like taking cheap shots at the competition. Rather than saying "The XBox has all this to offer" they're saying "atleast were not this". It's like the negative campaigning. All it's gonna do is turn people off of buying one. Like I said, it shows nothing about what the XBox offers.
Get with it Microsoft, you've got the most powerful console so why not focus on the games that exploit that hardware.

Most of you guys know me and know that I support multiplatform gaming, its all about the games.....so now that I have said that,

I thinks it's humourous. I don't think its an ad, though, it looks like it was done by a fan, seeing as how it is in the "community" area of the Xbox website.

It's just a silly flash presentation, why does everyone get their panties in a bunch whenever Microsoft does something. Get over it.

    Rick,

It does reside on their site. If Sony had a 'Microsoft Sucks' page on Playstation.com, I think people would react the same way.

It just seems silly. I think it's just a really poorly done thing. It seems as though a 5 year old did it.

If their going to take cheap shots, at least make them good. Full House is funnier and wittier than this. I'll take flash movies with annoying Japanese songs and floating celebrity heads over this crap.

After watching that I'm actually interested in buying a Lamecube just for that game! Looks fun.
