In addition to yesterday’s news from Samsung revealing the incorporation of Apple Music onto its platform, the company also announced during the week that its Smart TVs will allow access to six new health and wellness apps in partnership with fitness brands barre3, Calm, Echelon, Fitplan, Jillian Michaels Fitness and obé Fitness.
Later this year, the apps will be part of Samsung Health, a fitness platform designed for Samsung Smart TVs, and announced earlier this year at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. With so many homebound consumers needing fitness solutions, according to Samsung, the Korean company and its partners are delivering to customers early access to 5,000-plus hours of free at-home wellness content, all of which is available now.
