Well, I the old set got hit by lightning tonight so I wound up getting a Philips 30PW8402/37. I'm having some trouble with the S-Video. Regular coax video works great, but the set won't pick up the S-Video from my DVD.

    Anyone have any experience?

This is odd. While I was upstairs it started working. Anyone have a Philips know why?

Some TVs share their composite and S-video inputs, meaning only one will work at a time. Do you have something installed to the composite input by any chance?
