New TV Purchase, which one should I get? (1 Viewer)

I am not sure which TV I should buy, it is either the Toshiba or Hitachi. I am looking at the 57 models.

Any thoughts or opinions would be great.

I'm looking for one myself.
I like the KV34XBR910 Sony wide screen tube type for a couple of reasons.

1. So far I haven't seen a better picture
on anything else that I've looked at. including Plasma and LED's. In my opinion anyway.

2. Can't justify the new flat jobs that hang on the wall.
Even if I could, the picture on the XBR is suburb. However it is 24 inches deep.

3. MSRP is $2499 plus stand $349. I found a place in NJ that will sell me one for $2150 WITH the Sony stand.

I'd like to hear from others. Maybe someone has another idea
Any input would be welcome.
