I've noticed that the new Tosh's are MUCH lighter than the current models. I was sharing this with my dealer and we couldn't figure out what they could have done to lose so much weight.
Then it hit me....(and I hope I'm wrong)....maybe Tosh is going to use mylar in place of the current heavy mirrors?
    Any ideas?

I haven't seen any of the new sets yet, but my guess is that most of the weight savings is in the construction of the cabinet. Perhaps they are using some plastics instead of all wood.

For a 2nd floor apartment dweller who moves semi-frequently (Something about the neighbors complaining about the noise [IMG] ), the light weights seem too good to be true. I was trying to figure out how I could move the 410 lb behmoth 65H80 out of my apartment, if I bought one. Too bad I have to wait until fall for the new models to come out.
