Im setting up a old PC I have as a music server. The network is set up and working, almost.

I am using a Linksys wireless G router. The network is not wireless.

Here's the problem. Around half of the wav files I have on the host computer(Pent 4/2.4 XP pro) dont play on the music server(Pent II/400/WIn2K pro). The folder shows the file but when I drop it into Winamp or WMP nothing happens. The player shows to title but the length is listed as 0.00. Some files work fine. I have a 200 meg HD, in the host computer, for my wav files, I share the entire drive.

All wav files play fine on the host computer.

Any ideas? If more info is needed please let me know what. As I said, Im new to setting up a network and kinda did by the seat of my pants
