That looks like a nice space to work with, Chad. What else are you planning?

Hey! We have the same DVD player... I like my Pioneer DV-333... it'll play anything, even problem DVDs, without so much as a twitch.

Looks great Chad. Do you plan on keeping the walls and ceiling white?

    Peace Out~[IMG]

Excellent looking. Your room looks almost like mine. I wish I could change the colour but eventually I will.I see you have mounted the projector off centre. How is it working out?

    Dave,
That is it for now. I have a Toshiba 3950 that I was trying out....not sure what upgrade I want for a dvd player.

    Ron,
Walls are staying white as of now...the black border took away some of the brightness.

    Neil,

That is why I went with the Z1(lense shift). Works out great...by the way how is the PC coming along?

Seriously though I haven't even had time to tweak the thing.
It is going back to Sanyo tomorrow for a blue dead pixel. I guess if you complain enough they give in.

All I have to say is it is awesome considering the projector and Painted wall/screen, DIY mount was less than
$1,200....I don't want to send it back because I want to watch Finding Nemo tomorrow...oh well.

Thinking of a riser for the 2nd row

You totally fooled me with your screen.
I thought it was store bought until I read the description/info.
    Excellent Job! [IMG]

Along with my friends that watched the sunday night football game....they thought it was a real one. One of the guys walked up to it and started looking at it.....I said hey don't touch the paint on the wall.[IMG]

added some HDTV pics and some info/help on the Z1. I made a quick cheap riser but don't have pics yet......would like to paint the room a different color but I don't know if it will happen.

    Update:
Painted main area and repainted screen. Also I made a riser for the 2nd row seating but I don't have pics of that yet.
    More to come....
