With yesterday's announcements from WB concerning Best-Of episode releases for both Friends and South Park (arrgggghh!), I was wanting to know:
I haven't seen - anywhere! - clue as to which episodes will be released on the new 8/21 WB release of Scooby Doo's Spookiest Tales.
Do they continue the "episode order" pattern started in Scooby Doo's Original Mysteries? Or, as the title implies, is it yet another run to the "Best-Of" bucket for WB?
I've search HTF to no available. Can anyone solve the mystery for me? Thanks,

Thanks, JohnS, but actually your link proves that we're out of luck!
Synopsis: Quartet of creepy episodes from the beloved Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! TV series features the Mystery Machine kids facing witches, ghosts, and other beasties while "meddling" in local mysteries. Includes "Vampires, Bats, and Scaredy Cats," "A Gaggle of Galloping Ghosts," "That's Snow Ghost," and "Which Witch Is Which?"
Since a "quartet" is 4, and they name all four, then WYSIWYG. But you don't get 'em in order!
"Gaggle" is Ep. #11; "Snow Ghost" is #17, and WWiW is #13. The 1st title REEL.COM mentions - "Vampires, Bats, and Scredy Cats" - isn't even from the 1st Season (1969-70), nor even from Scooby-Doo, Where Are You? at all! It is instead from the 1976-77 series The Scooby-Doo/Dynomutt Hour (episode #76018)!!!
Here is the First Season:
  1. What a Night for a Knight (Sept 13, 1969)
  2. A Clue for Scooby-Doo (Sept 20, 1969)
  3. Hassle in the Castle (Sept 27, 1969)
  4. Mine Your Own Business (Oct 4, 1969)
  5. Decoy for a Dognapper (Oct 11, 1969)
  6. What the Hex Going On? (Oct 18, 1969
  7. Never Ape and Ape Man (Oct 25, 1969)
  8. Foul Play in Funland (Nov 1, 1969)
  9. The Backstage Rage (Nov 8, 1969)
  10. Bedlam in the Big Top (Nov 15, 1969)
  11. A Gaggle of Galloping Ghosts (Nov 22, 1969)
  12. Scooby-Doo and a Mummy Too (Nov 29, 1969)
  13. Which Witch Is Which (Dec 6, 1969)
  14. Go Away Ghost Ship (Dec 13, 1969)
  15. Spooky Space Kook (Dec 20, 1969)
  16. A Night of Fright Is No Delight (Jan 10, 1970)
  17. That's Snow Ghost (Jan 17, 1970)[/list=a]
Thanks anyway, but I'm afraid I won't be getting this one! My son will enjoy Scooby-Doo and the Cyber Chase if he needs a Scooby-snack. Otherwise, he'll enjoy the new Teletubbie disc instead. He can't have them all, after all.

Speaking of S-Doo, I ordered the next release for her birthday on 8/28, I can't remember the release date? Will it arrive on time?

Michael,
Thanks for the review, glad to see that there is a 5th episode on there, but why on earth doesn't Warner, tell you it's on there, as it would add to my purchase.
I like the ski trip episode.("That's Snow Ghost")

John, your guess is as good as mine. The fifth episode is listed on the back of the box in very small print. I can't figure out why they called it an extra in the first place. At least it's there though, that's the way I look at it.

Does anyone know the name of the episode that had Batman and Robin as guest stars? And, is that episode available anywhere on video?
Thanks
Ron
My son saw it on Cartoon Network and he can't stop talking about it

Michael, thanks for the review. It doesn't matter anyway.
For anyone who cares, "The Headless Horseman of Halloween" is another one from The Scooby-Doo/Dynomutt Hour (#76005). So...more out-of-order episodes. Sigh.
And, for Ron Boster, the answer is that the episode with Batman & Robin was creatively called......"The Caped Crusader Caper". It was one of The New Scooby-Doo Movies, broadcast from 1972-74. This episode was first shown on 12/16/72. It's not out on DVD, and I don't own any Scooby-Doo on VHS, so I can't help you there.

They better not release the 13 Ghosts of Scooby-doo out of order. They can simply put this on 3 dvd's. 2 if possible.
