I just purchased the Samsung p5063w and have few questions please. When I play a dvd it shows 720x480i@60hz. When I hit progressive on dvd player, it shows 720x480@60hz. It removes i but does not put a p????Is it playing in 480p??The picture dramatically improves and is awesome. Is it upconverting to 720p naturally?The book states it shows all things in 720p???

The remote is very basic and does not have half the buttons shown in book???

I am getting the Comcast dual-tuner hd-dvr on wed, does anyone know hook-up so I can have correct cables ready???Component, dvi, hdmi?????

720p is 1280x720.However what you see maybe is just what being received not what being displayed. Is this TV the "pedestal" series?

No, it is not the pedestal series. If it should be 1280x720, is there a way to enable this????

Like I said it is probably just identify the incoming signal.Is your player an upscaling type?
