I am guessing some things have been cut because they were recently released on Rush in Rio?

Either way, this looks like a great release.

I am just praying for great sound quality and anamorphic widescreen.

Darn, most of those cut songs will be missed.

The rest of this set is certainly worth picking up, though.

Has anyone picked this up? I just noticed it on the new release shelf today, but am a little gunshy following the Rio release. This one has great specs on paper, though. Tom Freakin' Sawyer, Baby! ;)

This new DVD puts Rio to shame. Much better picture and audio quality. You can see more thoughts in the thread in the Music forum.

While I understand why some people have a problem with some aspects of RiR, I don't think any video is going to surpass the energy of that show. It is why I'm glad I have a copy of it. R30 may look and sound better, but it isn't going to have the crowd and the energy.

I'm listening to the CD right now, and it is another good record of a tour, just like all the other live Rush CDs that I have...
