During the break in period of a new RPTV, does it matter which input is used? Can I use just one S-Video input with my DirecTV box or VCR during the break in and then when it comes time for the ISF callibration, get the component inputs callibrated for the DVD player? Or should I use as many inputs as possible for the break in? I have to have each input on the TV that I want to use callibrated seperately, right?

It's more about the unit heating up and cooling down and "settling in". As the set gets used it heats up and cools down and there will be minute changes in the way things settle...IE CRTs the framework after 100 hours it should have achieved break-in or settling (is that a word?).
In the years I have been here I have never read about the need to excercise inputs.
Break it in for 100 hours and then start what tweaking you would like to do.
