Found a review of the bonus disc;
http://www.digitallyobsessed.com/sho...w.php3?ID=3853
I would have liked the Canadian Strictly Ballroom DVD to be used,
it is reported to have a picture on the disc rather
than the US silver colored DVD, but both are the same
content and transfer, see;
http://www.currentfilm.com/dvdreview...anadadvd2.html
I am also sad to hear that the MR DVD didn't come is
the same plastic case. Fox had covers made for MR and
they were being used in places like Block Buster.
Then all three movies could have matching Amary cases.
Is there a photo of the case holding all of the discs?

I was hoping for a photo that shows how the cases
fit into the slipcase.
How does the MOULIN ROUGE packaging fit along the
other plastic cases.
The reviewer of the bonus disc just emailed me
and said that the bonus disc comes in a plastic case.
A photo at an oblique angle with the cases slightly
pulled out would help answer my question.
Sort of like when they show the fold out packages
partial opened.

It is hard to tell from the bonus disc review if
any footage from the UK R2 Strictly Ballroom DVD
behind the scenes featurette or 'Love Is In The Air'
music video is used.

It sounds like thay may have used some of the location footage that was the R+J laser disc bonus.
I didn't think they were going to go back and add the
different director's commentary track from the R+J laser disc.

I couldn't say if the making-of on the bonus disc is from the R2 Strictly Ballroom because I've never seen it. The featurette runs for roughly 7 minutes, with other bits including as extra "branching" segments, including scant footage of the original stage play.

As for the music video, it isn't there.

Can someone confirm something for me?
During the branching section of the "Red Curtain Cinema", There is a very annoying vertical gray bar on the right side of the screen that is very distracting.
Is this on everyone's copy also?
Thanks.:)

Granted, I'm not the most technically oriented person in the world, but what was wrong with the DTS on the Moulin Rouge DVD? I've read the other posts about it, but I didn't see any synch problem whatsoever, and I've watched it several times with the DTS option.

Some DVD players produce a delay and some don't. The Panasonic RP91 is among those that do (my player).

But it shouldn't be considered a "player" problem as MANY players produce the delay and this does not happen with any other DTS DVD that I own. Something about the mastering with this disc produces this fault with certain players and not with others. The delay, when it's there, is REALLY bad.
