In my system and room, using LSi-25s, the best soundstaging, imaging, and tonality are achieved when the speakers and sweet spot make an equilateral triangle, with the speakers toed-in and aimed directly at the listener.

The LSi speakers need a good bit of run-in time to achieve their maximum smoothness and best performance. Mine needed over 100 hours of use (I played them, unattended, at moderate volume for several days).

    Happy listening!

Location and toe-in are very important with the Lsi series. I've had to compromise a little with regards to toe-in in order to get the best possible sound for 2 channel music and HT use. Not having installed spikes allows me to slide them around a little bit.
