Pink Floyd is releasing a 2 CD copulation in November called Echoes-Pink Floyd's Greatest. It has the approval of both David Gilmour and Roger Waters and is produced by the same man who produced The Wall and The Final Cut.It will also include one previously unreleased song from The Wall that never made it on the cd.The entire cd has all music digitally remastered and will have no interuptions between all 28 tracks. Can't wait!

Wow, and I thought this was a family forum....
I'm a big Floyd fan (not in size though) but this is a little overboard, I think...

You might want to try posting this in the music forum.

There's official news about it at www.emimusic.ca. Last year EMI acquired worldwide rights to the Pink Floyd catalog of albums up to and including "The Final Cut", but not the more recent albums by the Floyd since Roger Waters left the band. Those albums remain under CBS/Sony, so my guess is that there will not be any songs from them on the compilation.
I already have everything recorded by Pink Floyd but I look forward to hearing how the songs in this compilation are sewn together into one seamless piece of music. For my car CD player I had assembled a "road mix" that crossfades my favorite Floyd songs for some really cool segueways.

I think I'll just find the new song on the internet.
