It's two Pre/Pros, a series of amplifiers and a couple of DVD players as well.

    Merc,

That's what Parasound has been showing since CES 2001, so it isn't new news.

I haven't heard from them in sometime about introduction schedule, and me almost in the market for a new processor.

    Thinking seriously about Theta though...

    Regards,

    This is interesting

I am in the market and am considering the Anthem. However I was delaying to see what B&K and Parasound came out with. Well that and saving the purchase money.

I see Cinepro will have thier Pre/Pro out soon also. This one will be out of my range.

Any information on what is onboard of the Parasound?

    Joe

    Joe,

They'll both be "buzz-format compliant". The top end will have an LCD monitor built in for configs without firing up the video subsystem. The top end piece was going to be upwards of US$5K, and I think around US$3500 for the lower end piece.

This is all based on recollection, and the $$$$ could be wrong.

    Regards,
