Anybody tested new Panny players — S27 and S47? I want to buy one because my old Onkyo wouldn't play +R or -Rs. Besides the newer-generational players have photo and other disc playability. Most important of all I read somewhere that the new Panny plays DVD-A though only in 2 channel.
Can a DVD player with 192Khz/24 bit audio DAC play DVD-A? Most players claim they play audio in better resolution because they have a better DAC?
Is 96KHz/24bit going to be dead?
What's the diefference between 54Mhz/10bit video DAC and the one with 10bit? Philips has some new budget players with 12bit while most others have 10bit.
I am lost on these bits.
