Wow this one looks pretty good. I wonder what the controls will be like.

Don't take this as a thread burp, but I'm not sure about this. I never heard of it until this thread, but I don't like the way she's constantly dancing around. What's that all about?

    ^^^

Talking about the actual in-game stuff. Not just the wrap-around animation.

Capcom has 5, amazing-looking original games coming exclusive to Gamecube this year.

-There's P.N.03, which looks like a great 3rd person action game (can you call it a shooter, because everything comes right out of her hands? [IMG] )

-There's Viewtiful Joe, which is an awesome looking sidescroller.
    Here'a preview: http://www.nintendonow.com/news/124.html

-There's Killer7, which also appears to be cell-shaded. It's looks like a very mature, adult oriented, original game.

    Here's a preview: http://www.capcom.co.jp/gamecube/ima...iller7_320.mpg

-There's Dead Phoenix. I don't know much at all about this, but it looks promising.

-And finally, there's Resident Evil 4. It's going to be a fully 3D time game (nothing is pre-rendered). It's supposed to have graphics as good as the previous 2 RE games on Gamecube, but in realtime. It also looks very promising.

Wow, all 5 of these games look extremely original and downright great.
If they play half as good as they look (judging by these previews), then it seems like Gamecube owners are in for a real treat, IMO.

Looks good so far...I was a bit worried when they removed the guns - but it does have a pretty unique style.

Control scheme, according to IGN, is sort of like a FPS but in the third person. Analog stick moves you forward and backwards (but you remain facing forward, so you are always facing your enemies), left and right spins you in either direction, and the shoulder buttons sidestep. Other buttons and the d-pad are used for firing weapons, jumping, crouching, special attacks, etc.

    Yeah, I think you're right.

Although nothing's been announced officially, 4 of those games may only be temporarily exclusive. (ie. they could be ported to PS2 and/or Xbox after a few months).

Resident Evil 4, however, it completely exclusive to Gamecube.

RE4 is exclusive to the GameCube for now, but the deal with Nintendo only went up to RE4, so afterwards, it COULD end up ported or SE'd to another console.

Has anyone heard when we can expect the release of P.N.03?

The trailer shows the Japanese url and release date of 3/27/03, but IIRC Viewtiful Joe was the first game of the Capcom 5 to make it out in the U.S. (and I think that was coming out this summer).

I like the girls style...nice to see the butt wiggle. [IMG]
I'm not so keen on the sparse environments though. Nice architecture but very plain.
