As far as I can see from your DVD vault, the original Turtles movie has not been released on DVD, but according to what you said in the chat tonight, you'll be releasing both of the sequels which are fairly good, but they come nowheres as near the greatness of the original.
Now while the 2 sequels by themselves is a fairly nice purchase, a Platinum DVD box set of the whole trilogy would be excellent! and it could even be tied in with John Woo's CGI version of TMNT. :)

Actually the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie is on DVD, but it's pretty much a bare-boned disc. I'd like an SE of the first film, with commentary, making-of featurette, storyboards, conceptual sketches, and other cool stuff.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Platinum Series DVD!!!!

I'm surprised New Line hasn't done right by this one yet. From what I remember, TMNT was a HUGE hit for them and helped put them on the map.

I missed the chat, and I can't tell you how excited I am to hear that TMNT2 is finally coming to DVD! I already have the first one, and while it's not the best DVD I own, it is more than adequate, a fine presentation.

Am I the only one who was disappointed with the New Line chat? All their answers were just "no plans" and "thanks for the suggestion." If we're asking the wrong questions then I wish they would give us some tips. I mean these guys make the best DVDs every time, I can't even think of a New Line disc that has been disappointing (they just don't release a whole lot), but their whole chat was anticlimatic.
