I own these and IMO the upper frequencies seem a bit more sedated and therefore have less potential for harshness than other previous models I have heard and owned. They have the same horn as the flagship RF-7 floor model's so the detail is amazing. However, as other Klipsch speakers they still need to be paired with a sub.
