New iPhone apps and 1st gen Iphone, were did the apps button go? (1 Viewer)

well of course everyone knows the trouble that was itunes at start up but
is anyone else still having trouble with the apps?

i've had to go in and reload apps a half dozen times tonight because most of them won't appear in the iphone.

so i was finally able to get the ones i wanted on iphone but now the apps button has disapeared from the iphone and the apps section on itunes is greyed out.


i've also had the iphone freeze several times tonight while trying to use some of these apps.


what is going on.


edit:
i knew something else was missing but i just figured it out the safari button os gone too.

ok so what does the restore button in itunes do.
should i hit that then rerload everything back from itunes.

aarrgh.
well there is a restrictions setting and somehow they were all turned off.
ipod
safari
youtube
itunes
apps

all off.
