    Went to Walmart a few hours ago and saw the NEW animated Inspector Gadget movie on DVD.

    It's called Inspector Gadget's Last Case
    and it is released my MGM
    and the DIC company, which released the original Inspector Gadget cartoons.

    PRICE= $9.44

    Animation is different and they have his darn car talking just like the stupid live action movies.
    There is hardly an opening with the original Gadget music, (which I love) but is missing from this opening.

    Maurice LaMarche who did the voice of Cheif Quimby in the original cartoon, this time does the voice of Inspector Gadget, with some what similarities of Don Adams

    Running Time of 1hr 14 min
    Special Features:
    Bloopers
    Pencil Test
    Behind the scenes featurette
    Did U know?
    Fun facts with Inspector Gadget
    trailers

    This actually came out two months ago. It's part of a new feature-length animation line from MGM, which also includes such characters as Dennis the Menace and Sabrina.

    My kid's face didn't light up when he saw these, so I doubt I'll be buying any of them.
