I think this belongs here. I'm providing a link below. I don't know what constitutes a great animated short, but the CGI is amazing. Check it out. It's called A Work In Progress.

    Amazing!

Massive props to the ILM crew. I wonder when we should be expecting their first fully CG animated movie.

I was thinking the same thing Terry. I think they could make a great CGI film, as long as they don't try to go real ala Final Fantasy. What made me bust out laughing was the short legged giraffe and the giant ape singing opera with Luciano Pavarotti's voice.

I seriously doubt ILM would try to do something like "Final Fantasy". I really think they'd attempt something a lot more tongue-in-cheek. "Work in Progress" was hilarious and I truly hope they do a big screen CG animated movie with the same type of humor.

And the giraffe-dog was really funny.

I loved that...I hope that makes its way to a DVD somewhere (ala Pixars releases).

Something about this was very Monty Pythonesque...Im a big Fan of alternate reality things like that.

Well, many of these short films are somewhat strange. You really have to listen to the dialogue closely to understand what's going on.

They should do a series of shorts and then release them all on DVD or include them with something like Pixar did.

That would be something I'd like to see Morgan. I really hope For the Birds gets put on the DVD when it comes out.
