i lucked out and found a large stash of DTS 35mm snipes used at the beginning of features projected with DTS as the theatre's audio format first choice. So now I can attach DTS snipes on the beginning of the majority of my features which allows me to NOT have to splice and unsplice from one feature to another one. And the best news is that the stash I discovered were split pretty evenly between l:85 and 2:35 formats!! That makes me smile.

I just snagged a 35mm print of JAWS 3D. I'll mostly be sorry simply because the original prints were the worse 3D prints ever!!!(technically speaking) It's no secret why!

I think Amityville 3D's were worse. The underwater photography in Jaws 3D [done by Chris Condon, with his own lenses, rather than the ArriVision 3D optics used for the rest of the film], is very good, with the excpetion of composite shots, which were rushed and look awful.

Stephen I also have a print of Amityville that looks better to my eyes than any Jaws 3D print I've seen, Amityville has it's issues but it doesn't give me a headache Jaws 3D does. I very anxious to use my new Dolby 3D lens to see if there's any improvement. My Dolby lens made a huge difference on Friday the 13th 3D.

Get two more JBL and get that DFP-D2000 running some SDDS 8 channel. Sure there some prints about of the odd 200 so that was done. Black Hawk Down, Last Action Hero, In Line of Fire, (Surf's Up, which was the last SDDS 8)

When I installed the SDDS system, I considered putting two more JBL's behind the screen but after sleeping on the idea for a couple of days I decided the 12 foot wide screen wasn't wide enough to allow the extra channels to shine through. Plus I was tired of running wires!!!!!
