I have finally started installing the wall studs. I found my table saw to be a bit difficult to get an easy square clean cut for the studs. I purchased a miter saw which works much better! This is the first time I ever built any walls. I'm not sure what kind of entry door I want for the HT room yet. I may use Dri-Core flooring under the carpeting.

Stay tuned,

Dan

Just a heads up, you may want to decide soon on the Dri-Core. You need to account for it when framing doorway openings (door height).

Thanks Luke,
You bring up a very good point! Due to my limited ceiling height, Dri-Core seems to be the best option as it is not very thick.

Tim,

I'm currently planning how I am going to do the plumbing and tile floor in the bathroom. The cost is not that bad so far as I am doing EVERYTHING myself.
