Hello all. I am new here, but I do have some knowledge on audio/video. I have been looking around on this site and it seems most threads are on wall mounted or floor stand speakers. I am looking for in wall speakers. I want a clean look for my living room. The room is about 20' x 22' or so. I currently have 2 10" Sony subs and my speakers are Bose. I bought all from Best Buy afew years ago. But I want better speakers. So here I am. I have an Onkyo reciever. It seems nice to me, but I am all new to this too. So any help would be greatly appreciated.

I know there are many brands of speakers out there. And everyone has a diff opinion. All I need is a direction. Though, I will continue to search, and thanks to those who post. :emoji_thumbsup:

Do you have a specific budget in mind? Also, are you planning for a 2.0 system, 3.0, 3.1, 5.1 or 7.1?

Some good brands to consider for in-walls are B&W, Klipsch and SpeakerCraft.

It would be a 7.1 and I would prefer to keep it around $2k - $3k range, for speakers.

To follow-up on my previous post, here are some more specific recommendations based on the additional information you provided.

1 - 7 x B&W CWM800's - ~$3500 (could use CWM650 for surrounds to save $)
2 - 7 x Klipsch R-5800 - ~$2600
3 - 7 x Speakercraft Aim7 MT Three - ~$1900
