New HDTV Ad Campaign!

    Samsung & other parners say they are going to start a multi-million dollar ad campaign to get HDTV's in more homes. This of course impacts software sales, particularly in Widescreen DVD's, because it means more people will have 16x9 TV's in their homes. It also means more people will be exposed to widescreen television content. Let's just hope this campaign is successful.

    More importantly, as more HDTV sets and projectors are purchased, the interest/demand for HD-DVD will help push the studios into releasing their libraries on this new format. Considering the tremendous success of DVD, studios are already preparing for tapping into the HD-DVD market.
