Samsung & other parners say they are going to start a multi-million dollar ad campaign to get HDTV's in more homes. This of course impacts software sales, particularly in Widescreen DVD's, because it means more people will have 16x9 TV's in their homes. It also means more people will be exposed to widescreen television content. Let's just hope this campaign is successful. And here is a recent article about sales of HDTV's last year.
