Just in case no one saw it in the previous post, thanks for all the help in the purchase of the new drive. Now my upgrading of my computer is finally complete.
Here's the final specs.
Old: Pentium 2, 400 MGHZ board. New: Pentium 3, 1GHZ Board
Old:ATI TV Tuner 8MB Pro PCI.
New:ATI TV Tuner 7500 64MB AGP.
Old:CDRW Drive 12X. New: DVD RW Drive 2.4X
Old Hard Drive: Maxtor 11GB 256KB Cache.
New Hard Drive: WD 100 GB 8MB Cache...
Old:128MB's Ram New:384MB's Ram.
This should last me at least 5 years before it comes overly outdated again .

so how much has this cost you? have you compared the cost of a new computer versuses your upgrade?

Not to be a bad guy, but you can pick up a 1.5 AMD XP processor, mobo for under $150 these days and will SMOKE even a P4 @ 1.5
Your 8mb cache HD won't perfrom NEarly as well on P3 with a 100fsb.
