New DVd burner coming ..which software to use?

    I figured I'd skip the OEM software that it comes along and get something better. I've been using NERO for my CDRW needs and I was wondering if that's a good choice. I'm a cheap guy so I'll probably try and get one off of ebay.

    Nero Ultra 6.6. Better then anything else going (IMHO) in that it does something many of the other's don't.. that is to say: it works properly.

    I actually settled into a bunch of software to do stuff. Nero is my go-to app for data/music etc, and I usually author movies using the TMPEGEnc DVD Author.

    Folks, we do not discuss circumventing copy protection on commercial DVDs on this forum.

    for the backup of data and such Nero should be all you need,if you need to know about other software types off forum sent me a message and Ill be glad to answer questions you may have.
