new Denon 1600 x panasonic RP91

    Hello people

    Is there true that this two models are identics ? or is another history .I had listen that denon dvd use panasonics dvd designs for their DVDs

    these units has the Chroma Bug ?

    Any coments about this new denon dvd player ?

    No, The 1600 is based on the RP56 but with DVD-A and base management. The 1600/RP56 have the Sage chip and the RP91 has the genesis chip.

    none of these players have the bug.

    I have not seen the 1600 but I did have an RP56 for about 2 days. It had a great picture. A tad better than my panasonic H1000.
