I have the Region 4 dvd and I liked it's cover art a lot better.
Ugh. Was the theatrical poster so bad? I kinda liked it.
I guess they needed cute girls on the cover to sell it...
is it just me or does that picture of keira knightley look like a photoshoped 12 year old's face? didn't the original art have her screaming?
OMG, what a friggin' horrible photoshop hack! Guess you couldn't really tell it was Keira Knightley while she was screaming...can't miss out on the Pirates of Carribean buzz!
R3 cover w/ orignal photo:
I hate this cover. I like the movie poster cover with the Indian lady's back carrying soccer shoes.
Ew. This cover does not make me want to own this movie (which I am buying).
I prefer the R2 cover, which used the UK poster art:
Perhaps someone can make a quality copy of the R2 and post it as a replacement cover. It's much better.
I think the Region 4 cover is even better than the Region 2 which has the same picture of the two young women but also the old ladies in the background.
We need pictures of course...
I KNEW this was secretly a Lesbian Porn film! What else could a bizarre title like Bend it like Beckham be other than a porn title!
What's that big black and white circly thing in the first poster anyway--someone's sick idea of an all american baseball?!
Boy does that cover Stink. Photoshop is the bain of the DVD world. Looks Like another Candidate fo DVDCoverArt.com
This is the one they should have used.
hhmm.. the R2 looks very similar to the R3 I have.. and this one come w/ the OST.
I don't think it's real. Not only is there photoshop aliasing on the text, theres the logo from apple.com Fox trailers on the right side.
Still, considering the current state of DVD covers it could very well be real.
FWIW, the cover art at DVD Planet also has that watermark.
Fascinating. Judging by the taglines, R4 clearly does not have Aloo Gobi as part of its Indian cuisine, and yet R2 & R3 do.
Anyway, surely you don't cook chapatis, you bake them?
