    I was just looking through the list of "coming soon" DVDA titles on HomeTheaterMag.com and the listed another Blue Man Group disc. It says "Blue Man Group - PVA - Virgin".

    Does anyone know anything about this. It's the first I've heard and being a fan of "Audio" I'd be quite happy to know there's another disc coming.

    Tyler,
    I've always heard the title being referred to as POV (Point Of View).
    I too am looking forward to the titles released, whatever the name ends up being [IMG]

    OK, this is an old thread, but its what the search engine found.

    I got this DVD-A last week. Talk about butt kicking low end! I saw BMG last summer on tour, and thought there was no way that the DVD-A could possibly equal the sonic impact of seeing the show live.

    Well, I was right...but not by much.

    This thing rocks. You would be advised when cuing up the first track to NOT goose the volume right away. The opening segment is really nothing special, and there is really not a lot of low end to speak of, but that problem gets corrected in a big way a minute of two in.

    Holy crap. There are what seem to be full range sounds coming out of all five main speakers, and you sub will be begging for mercy.

    This will be THE demo disc for DVD-A in my rig for some time to come.

    It may not have the true hi-fidelity impact of say, Steely Dan's Everything must Go, but for shear "in your face" percussion, I have nothing that will touch this.

    Yep.. this DVD-A will make pictures fall off your wall.
    I have had this disc since day one, and I am amazed at the quality of the sound. It is a very aggressive mix, and if you live in an apartment will definitely help you break you lease real quick. [IMG]
    The first time I played the disc I wasn't prepared for the all out assult, and I think a few things hanging on my walls were "buzzing" and "vibrating" to say the least.

    As good as The Complex is on straight CD, I can't imagine it on DVD-A. Wow! How much bass would one guy need???

    I just read about the SVS PB2-plus. Can be configured (depending on the room size) to give more or less flat freq response to ... 11 Hz! [IMG]

    There is another Blueman DVD coming out in November, but I believe it's live concert footage from the Complex tour this summer. (Saw it twice in May, am going again tonight!!) I've yet to see anything about The Complex on DVD-A. Waiting patiently...

    I just rec'd my copy of DTS Entertainment's DVD-A of BMG's The Complex. It's outstanding. The mix by Andrew Schneider is aggressive and immersive. I was very impressed and cannot for the life of me imagine this release in stereo now. DTS is releasing some pretty nifty stuff lately, with Porcupine Tree, Crystal Method, Zappa, etc. Great stuff!

    Stuff on the disc:

    * DVD-A 5.1 96/24
    * DTS 5.1 96/24
    * PCM 2.0 Stereo 48/24

    Videos for "Sing Along" with Dave Mathews and "Exhibit 13," making-of docu, drum track breakdown, etc.

    Felix,
    Where did you order it from? Amazon doesn't even have a listing for it.

    It's an advance copy of the final product. I believe it did come with a press release, so when I get a chance, I'll post it here.
