Congrats to you and your wife Shawn!!
Nice work, Shawn, congrats!
Best of health to your new boy. Don't worry, you'll start sleeping thru the night again in about 3 months!
Actually, it's not too bad so far. We put him to bed at 9:00pm.
He gets up between 12:00am and 1:00am for an hour or so to eat.
He sleeps again until around 4:00am or 5:00am. We feed him again and can get another 1 or 2 hours of sleep.
I am still averaging 7 hours of sleep per night.
Oh man, I just looked at my eyes in the picture. It looks like I've got the crazy eyeball going on...weird..hah
Enjoy your new baby! I hope you all have many many happy years together.
Heh, Shawn, don't worry about it. In fact I hadn't noticed until you mentioned it. ..
We're all too busy admiring your son to pay you any attention
How is he going to feel when he's all grown up and people address him as "Mr. C"?
Reminds me of that MASH ep where Hawkeye is trying to find out what BJ stands for
Congrats on your new bundle of joy! Glad to hear you're getting some rest. Infants can be pretty difficult since their only way of communication is crying. It can grate on your nerves after a while. But it is true, enjoy them now that you can hold them because time goes by quickly and you'll never have this opportunity again.
Congrats -- it's kind of a coincidence. My wife gave birth to our first child on July 8th as well, and he was 6 lbs. 13 oz., and we almost named him Nathan (but he ended up as Christopher).
