I used to have an old copy of Never Say Never Again (with the deleted scenes) that wouldn't play on my Pioneer DVD/LD combo unit (can't remember the model number right now). I just purchased the new version, with the scenes restored, but I'm scared to open it because I'm wondering if it will work. Does anyone have any information on compatibility problems with this disc?

    Thanks.

I was not aware that there was a newer version of NSNA. The one I currently own (cat.#1001098) never did play on my old Pioneer DV-500 (same with Pumkinhead), but have no problems playing them on my newer Tosh 4700.

***Never Say Never Again*** is printed on the label on the topside of the package (the one you peel off) in case you're wondering.

    Mike,
When I bought the Bond wave three box a couple years ago (which was released the same time as Never if im not mistaken); It wouldnt play on my Pioneer DVL-700 DVD/LD combo. It did play on my roomates Phillips however. I eventually bought my current Pioneer DV-626 which plays everything fine. You might have the same problem as I did.
