Netflix "short waits" (1 Viewer)

I don't know why, but suddenly this week about half of my queue in Netflix is now listed as having a "short wait" beside it. Only one or two had this status as of last week.

Anybody know what the deal is with them?

Other people probably got the titles sent to them ahead of you, but they expect others back soon. Happens all the time to me, at least.

It's been a pain in the ass for me. Of my top 20 titles, only three are currently available. Lame.

I think the influx of people who got dvd players and free trials (thanks to best buy)for Christmas are hurting Netflix's inventory, along with the yearly USPS slow down (that is blamed on the holidays and will be used to justify a price increase). They also seem to be taking a bad page from Walmart's online service (where a title will say very long wait, but yet be the next to ship out, while still saying very long wait).
