I picked it up at Target for $10, otherwise I probably would have waited for a used copy down the line. I liked her first one initially, but then it got kind of old and certain things about it became annoying. Not to say I don't like it anymore - it has its place, just not in constant rotation.
Anyways, Folklore seems to have fewer of the love-it-or-hate-it Furtado vocal tics, but after a couple listens in my car I'm not sure it is that much stronger than her first release. A few snoozers, a few compelling tracks. If you're already a fan you'll probably like it; I don't know if this is one to make any converts though (like I consider Fiona Apple's "When the Pawn..." to be).
