Looking thru my collection I noticed I only had 2 western movies. Tombstone and The good, the bad and the ugly.
What you say are the top 10 all time westerns? Or Top 5 even if thats to much. I want to add some more and cant really think of any right now.

Not in any order, the following are in my opinion the best ones that you don't have that are available on dvd:

High Noon (SE coming)
Unforgiven (SE coming)
Butch Cassidy & the Sundance Kid
A Fistful of Dollars
For a Few Dollars More
The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance
The Magnificent Seven

the best one not yet on dvd is (IMO):

My Darling Clementine

Not including the 2 you already have I'd recommend these titles which are essential for any Western film buff:
Here are 15 that are on DVD (If you want more let me know :) )
The Wild Bunch Sam Peckinpah's masterpiece
The Searchers John Ford's masterpiece
She Wore a Yellow Ribbon The best of John Ford's Cavalry Trilogy IMO
The Man Who Shot Liberty Valence John Ford's bittersweet farewell to the Western
Red River Howard Hawks masterpiece
Rio Bravo Howard Hawks answer to High noon
A Fistful of Dollars First film in Sergio Leone's Dollars Trilogy
For a Few Dollars More Second film in Leone's Trilogy
Magnificent Seven Probably the most fun Western ever made.
Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid A Classic
Unforgiven Clint Eastwood's masterpiece
Outlaw Josey Wales Eastwood's second best film
The Professionals an overlooked gem
Shane another classic
The Man From Laramie The only Anthony Mann/James Stewart Western on DVD. Classic
There are many great Westerns that haven't made it to DVD. Once Upon a Time in the West, My Darline Clementine, Naked Spur, Man of the West, Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid, Ride The High Country, Duck you Sucker, Winchester '73, The Tall T, Far Country, Bend of the River, & many many more.

While I don't consider this a western (although I understand what people are saying when they call it that), I agree it's a great film that deserves to be on dvd. And if we want to extend the definition of western, then throw in
Blazing Saddles
Support Your Local Sheriff
Support Your Local Gunfighter
Paleface
Son of Paleface
The Shakiest Gun in the West
and others :)

For some reason, I would recommend The Quick And The Dead for your collection. Good revenge movie.

I’m not sure if I consider this a Western either. For sure it would not meet anyone’s test of being the proper time frame.

But it just has that feel. Sort of, ‘it ought to be a Western, even though its not’.

I like to mention the film in discussions about Westerns, as I think it under appreciated.
